- The SourceMod crew have been hard at work on their latest creation. They have recently released Metamod: Source to the public. Metamod: Source is an API manager that sits between the engine and the mod that allows for greater admin functionality.
- INpact_Team has recently released a HUD and menu customization program for CS: Source. With this program the user is able to drag and drop their HUD elements to their liking.
- HLstatsX has recently been updated with more functionality. In the latest version, there are now live web page statistics and in-game queries.
- If you play CS: Source and you happen to use Konfabulator for your desktop, you may be interested in CSGeiger (pic). The widget sits on your desktop and displays the number of players in a server of your choice at any given time.
- The MapCentral Network: Open Source Installer has recently been announced. The program takes up where the CSMap Central Map Installer left off. It allows a user to quickly and automatically download and install maps from a central database, and will feature support for a number of games.
