"Pretty" and "CAL" don't go in the same sentence.

                    There are blue lights too.

It's a competition map, not an eyecandy map. It wasn't made by Turtlerock, so don't go expecting color.

I would have been perfectly happy to never see mill or fire get ported to CS:S.

Zips, what you said about them being competition maps is true. However, I thought one of the main goals of the CPL was to promote eSports as a spectator sport. If that's the case, I'd think you'd want to give the spectators something more interesting than this to look at, no?

There's enough to look at once the killing starts. You don't play CS for the scenery all the time, do you? I know I don't.

One of the main reasons I would want to change from 1.6 to CS:S if I could is the graphics, otherwise if people wanted to play this map they could play the 1.6 version.

The textures are updated, now find something other than crates to use as cover, vary the walls so there's a little bit of scenery, and add props. And also don't make the ground so flat.

Actually go out and look at whatever you're basing this off of and make the map look like that.

Looks very nice to me actually. I can't stand trees and it is kind of annoying that they're in on a competitive map, but I'll live.
