I can vouche for that. You can get a job at GameSpot or GameCrazy a week before E3 and as long as you have your badge you can get in. Being overly fat and a pervert will help you blend in, too.

Alienware's only guilty of being expensive. They make a fine computer system. if one can afford it, it is among the best gaming computer you can get. Great wiring job and unique Cases. Yes, you can get a lot of the parts that are in it cheaper but most gamers actually suck at putting it together and optimizing it. So many supposedly "dead" motherboards and CPU's sent back to manufacturers were actually screwed up by the geek teenager who only thought he knew what he was doing...but really didn't.
Working in Sales at a computer parts wholesaler company who also builds Systems, I know from whence I speak. Don't slam Alienware just because you can't afford it. If you really want to know how to waste your money, buy a Dell. They are a step below the geeky teenager who doesn't know what they are doing. And don't even start with any "But Dell is cheaper" crap. You get what you pay for.Comment

If you don't know how to setup a system, buy a book and learn it. Dell, Alienware, you name it, it's just like throwing money away.
Choose your processor, your mobo, your memory sticks, psu and happy overclocking.
You don't have to work at a computer parts company to know it.
After you setup your new overclocked L337 home-built system, download steam and you can enjoy life.Comment
