    Amped CS: Source All Star Game

    As a reminder, Amped eSports will be hosting the very first CS: Source All Star Game come this Thursday, May 12th at 9:00 P.M. Central time. Competitors will be duking it out for their chance at prizes, with all the mayhem broadcasted by Team Sportscast Network. This will be the perfect testing grounds for what SourceTV has to offer.     Los Angeles, CA — The Amped News Network is proud to announce the first ever, Counter-Strike Source all-star game.



    The Amped eSports Counter-Strike Source All-Star Game Presented by XFX Graphics (www.xfxforce.com) , SteelPad Gaming Gear (www.steelpad.com) , and Insomnia 365 (www.insomnia365.com) is the first competition pitting the highest caliber gamers in the United States against each other in the next generation of Counter-Strike. The event is going to be held online on Thursday, May 12th at 9:00 PM Central. The all-star game will be a five verse five format in a best of three series featuring the maps de_dust2, de_train and de_cbble.     There will be a live internet radio broadcast provided by the Team Sportscast Network (TSN), www.tsncentral.com, starting with a pre-game show before the event. We are also very happy to announce that Insomnia 365 will be providing SourceTV for the match as well as hosting a mirror for our All-Star game video that will be released after the event. All you need to do to watch SourceTV is enter in the IP provided below as if you were joining a regular game server.     XFX Graphics is providing 5 new NVIDIA 6600gt graphics cards which the ten players will be competing for. The winning team members will each go home with a new card.     Why care about some dudes playing CS in Cali and getting money. I swear we are witnessing the downfall of esports. Anyone else jumping on the flaming bandwagon?

        I dont see why they are competing for graphics cards and runner ups get mousepads. Don't they already have this top of the line stuff anyway since they are sponsored? They should have made it a public tourny.

          I think it's a sponsor thingy.. Companies probably prefer to give away their own products over just giving away $$$$...
