I favor the USP over the deagle most of the time.

For 1.6 and source everybody i see is whoring over deagle.i would choose eiltes for source and usp for 1.6

I loooove the P228, and lately I've grown on the glock, too. Deagle gets the job done but I find it too cliche to bother to get good with it. Loathe the USP..

Elites for Source?? I'll just stick with the USP/Glock/DE in that aswell if I were you (unless you play for fun only and don't give a damn about scores etc)..

people who know how to use them seem to do pretty well with the elites in source.

When pubbing (those rare moments I have to play) I'll always pick up the elites if I see them, just for the pure comedy value. That said, they're really not all that effective unless you're close enough that any gun (or knife, practically) is effective.



Anybody can do well in a pub with any given gun if they know how to use it, but that's assuming that everyone else isn't as talented, and it's not an amazingly stupid gun to use on that map (e.g. M3 shotty on piranisi). I've seen TMP ownage like no tomorrow, but that said, everyone will admit the TMP is inferior to the M4.



So as for me, I think I tend to stick with my default team pistol unless I've got gobs of money. I used to buy the deagle as a T, but ever since they did the Glock power boost, I'll just stick with whatever I get. I've never found a decent reason to buy the P228 or FN57 aside from sheer bordom / wanting a challenge.



Finally, sorry about my lack of manifesto posts around here these days ma_cherie, haha. :P Lots of other things going on in life, and I'm probably spending more time on CSN than I should be as it is. :)
