    de_port Guide

The fine Steam Powered site is now home to pre-release strategy notes for the new Counter-Strike: Source map entitled, de_port. Counter-Terrorist and Terrorist side tactics, map positions, variety of strats, and much more can be found here.
    "Middle Pick"

The attacking team rushes down the middle and decides between the Warehouse/Tanker bombsite, or Tank Far bombsite, depending on the amount of resistance (or lack thereof).
Click here for some helpful notes on de_port, which will come out hopefully by next week along with the infamous de_inferno!

Interesting tatics, but I had never seen anyone in CS use team tatics before. This is probably all that I've seen:

            1) Rush/camp spawn

            2) Gets killed

            3) Whine

            4) Piss off admin

            5) Kicked/Banned

poor valve. someone probably sat in a boring ass meeting, and said, hey, you know what... we don't have any big updates this week.. instead of doing nothing... what might be interesting... us sharing some strats with the community, what a cool way to share a new map.

then they go to the steam forums and warm their hands over the valve turkey bake

I don't really see why Valve did this for us.

Because they're a nice community oriented developing company? They like taking an extra step when they don't need to?

                  Maybe?

Why do you need tactics? no clip is the greatest tactic of them all...

Well how nice of them... Can they maybe give us some new models in CS:S or maybe even fix the game itself?

[edit] Yes, I know give them time. 6+ months already, I just have to wait a little more. :)

What exactly is wrong with the game besides personal gripes?

And if it's just that, save it for the in-game suggestion/bug reporting tool (F4).
