    Team 3D 3 Year Anniversary

Three years ago, the conception of forming together a professional gaming team with intentions of becoming the best of the best came to fruition. After several top 3 finishes in the CPL tournament, gold and silver medals from the World Cyber Games, two CAL-invite championships, sponsorships from respected companies such as NVIDIA, CompUSA, and Hewlett Packard, the list of accomplishments is overwhelming. Today marks the day of the 3 year anniversary for the organization known as Team 3D, and they will introduce a special prize to commemorate this occasion:
But what's a birthday without presents? That's right, in honor of this special day for Team 3D, you'll be given a chance to win some great prizes. Some HUGE prizes; sure, Thresh's Ferrari was BIG, and BIG checks for $30,000 are hard to carry on an airplane - but you can win what will possibly be the BIGGEST prize in e-sports history. Just be in #team3d on gamesurge at 10:30 P.M EST for your chance to win.
Hop onto IRC, and say "Happy Birthday, Team 3D" for your chance to win a prize!

Free Subway for a year sounds good, but tastes worse than a Liger.

if its such a big prize, wouldn't admins and site moderators keep it under wraps (better chances to win) eh?

I went there for a few minutes, then saw that it was stupid and looked highly unorganized so I left.

The grandprize literally shits on any other prize that could have been given out. Maybe even the biggest!

Free stuff is free stuff. It's not as if they had to or were forced to give away free products. But if you feel otherwise, then vent your opinions, as you are entitled to them.

god, a ferrari would've been nice.

So someone actually was given/won a ferrari in some sort of gaming related situation?

btw, seal clubbing is a conservation act, a huge growth in the seal population (an unnatural one) has caused a huge drain on cod populations (the seal also has a habit of destroying fishermens equipment). Simply because an animal is 'cute' should not be a deciding factor in what is right and wrong. What must be taken into consideration is the thousands of people whose lives are affected by the expanding seal population, and the life of groundwater fish. While it would be nice that 'cute' animals would not have to be killed, we cannot destroy so many peoples lives, and destroy countless millions of fish because they are not as cute as baby seals. Seal clubbing is also humane contrary to popular belief, only about 2 % of seals killed feel pain.

The biggest problem with clubbing seals is the hordes of people who will take up a cause without forming their own opinion or understanding the situation. I'm not trying to start a flame war, but just give you all a quick crash course on the situation and show that things are not always quite so one sided, if something seems too bad to be true, it usually isn't.

(the above was basically a response to what happened in team3d for all of you who were there)
