how could anyone prefer the community train over the official? i could map better than that by taking a dump on my keyboard.

Yeah that custom version of trian was UGLY. Not to mention you couldn't even go under the train.

nice attempt.. some show a lot of effort put in to them. Don't even play the cs_ maps though.. them hosties are soo dumb.. you can never rescue them. (vertigo, inferno, and nuke are the only ones i'm keeping)

I wonder if you're thinking of the same custom version of train. There are several out there. There was one that I tested that was in fact a horrible looking map. de_train_2k5 is, however a very nicely done map. Quite well made and was a joy to play. I can't immagine anyone calling that map bad at all let alone the worst source map ever. I recommend you at leat load it up and see if you are mistaken.
