Amped eSports continues their excellent series of map comparisons where the updated Counter-Strike: Source map ports are matched up against their original 1.6 counterparts. This time, Amped compares the recently ported de_train.

A boring hallway with 2 boxes you say? No longer, my friend. The source version of train has a bunch of areas that you are not actually able to enter, but add a lot of depth and detail. The area surrounding alley has some fun examples of this, along with some nice gameplay improvements. As noted in the last thumbnail, the spawn points have been changed so that the CT-T visual contact point is about 3 seconds earlier, making for a much more effective terrorist rush on Alley. But the CT's have been given a bevy of interesting new spots to await the rush.
