The new model is great. Very detailed. My only gripe is the football helmet style stripe going down the middle, but I assume Valve used real pictures of CT's as reference for this as they always do, so don't blame Valve if you don't like the model. Saying you don't like the look of this is like saying, "Damn, look at those SWAT guys saving lives over there. They sure do look stupid!"



The new train is fantastic. Not only does it look great, but Valve has added all kinds of nooks and crannies to the map giving you many more places to hide for cover or to ambush enemies. Great job Valve. And good job turtle rock on compound, surprisingly good map.

That's not the problem (I'm assuming) why everyone's complaining about it. The thing is, there's a lot of clipping with the new model. Detailed? Yes, but just not as appealing as the old one, IMO. I love the shiny helmet though. Great updates none the less, and if you dislike the new model, download the old one and replace it.

I have to create the models and player folder right? How do I backup the original, updated one? Just in case I want to go back it.

IF you get bored of the old one just delete it and the new one will be used it's in the cache.

Valve uses real pictures as reference? I wonder where they keep on getting these pictures of guns with the ejection port on the wrong side.



Also I invite you to show me a picture of an Ameircan Anti-Terrorism unit that resembles the one now featured in the game.

EDIT: why do they even try to add new things? they should just take the most popular requested things, because NO ONE complained how the 1.6 ct model's looked for example, why change em? Just because its newer doesnt mean u have to change it all up and risk the people's choice..

don't have to worry about the new one... it's in the .gcf file so... if you want to go back to the new one.. just delete the old one from the folder

Don't be so harsh on Valve! They're clearly trying to rid the world of lowlives like us to make it a better place by giving us new models and fixing problems.
