i just couldn't believe the ignorance of the reviewer for the gundam model lol.

geez, how mature of the person to be so ignorant... if Korean, Chinese, and Japanese are all the same to him then I really don't think he's even in the position to say that a cartoon addict is a 12 year-old. Then again, playing games and playing around with crappy custom models are definitely something all grown men would do.

w_assault is used on es_ maps where you can pick up kevlar (or any other map with pick-upable kevlar for that matter)

might morphing was the sizzle, no1 ever makes fun of the original, because it had that cool,ghetto black guy in it, and the green ranger... see thats what made it a hit :) GO GO POWER RANGERS! :P

I hear you man. Gundam is pretty popular among young adults, not just 12yos, in Japan. It'd be like making a transformer model. Same thing. I bet a lot of 20-30 yos in the US grew up loveing transformers. Gundam has been around a long time in Japan too. If you gave the anime a chance, its pretty sweet. I mean you think only 12yos are the only ones who are into shit blowing up, back-stabs, genocides, and giant robots kicking the crap out of each other? Funny, but ignorant, review nevertheless.

The proportions are all wrong too. The robot is supposed to be like 80 feet tall or something..

YES. Of course, it would have been rather difficult to post the in-game shot if I hadn't. :P

Seeing as I was like 14 or so when the Power Rangers came out, no... I haven't watched but a few seconds while channel surfing back when I still watched TV. I'm guessing most of you guys were a bit younger at that time, though, so I'm not about to criticize you watching stuff like that.

This is the greatest post here. :) Some people really miss the comedy aspect that I occasionally try to put into reviews. You should have seen the dozens of hate emails I got back when I reviewed that old "420 Deagle" and pretended that the leaf was a the Canadian maple leaf and that 420 must have been some strange caliber...



I guess unless you put "THIS IS A JOKE. PLEASE LAUGH NOW." somewhere in there, some people just aren't going to get it. :P

Yep, and while I rarely see an es_ server these days, several fy_ maps feature this as well. People play those, so hey, doesn't hurt to have a nice-looking model, even if you rarely see it.

The default fy_iceworld has no kevlar, but some of the variants do.

In all honesty, one of my roommates in college was a big anime fan, and watched "Gundam Wing" or something like that on the cartoon network on a fairly regular basis, but he was never able to really get me into the anime stuff. Well, correction, I did watch "Noir" seeing as it was basically just about chicks and guns, but that was it. :)

Yeah, and as much as we'd all love to be able to headshot an enemy from ANYWHERE on the map, sadly CS doesn't allow for 80' tall players. :P
