why are people putting nerds with gamers, i dont understand, when was growing up there were 2 conflicting groups, because alot of gamers spend so much time playing games they know nothing about computer and could care less. Many people play cs and dont even know what IP or URL means much less html. To me cs is just a endeavor like any other. Many people use computers for all kinds of uses and thier lives dont revolve around the computer itself, like nerds. You can be the best cs player and know absolutely nothing about computer really. So i dunno why people just recently started this whole cs nerd thing.
I agree with you. People who play on PS2/XBOX/GameCube/Gameboy are considered o.k. people but those who play on PC are called nerds probably by people who seriuosly have no life. Maybe those PC gamers just want more realism, graphics and physics that will blow away the PS2/XBOX far far away. And they want community and ability to play with their friends and make their own server, edit it the way they want and stuff like that. It perfectly OK to be a PC gamer. You just PC games better and there is nothing wrong with it. I personally would really be emberrased if I wore HL2/CS Tshirt to school or anywhere becauseof one reason: I live in Canada, frikin dumb country and almsot noone in my area plays CS except 6 people I know from school. I still want a poster though.

They should make more products, like keychains, stickers, and as someone metioned before action figures. I would like to have some CS:S ones.

Aww, I've had this shirt for about a year and a half now, and now other people can get it too. :-\

Ah well, so much for near exclusive ownership. :) Anyway, hopefully more variety is added soon, as currently it's a bit sparse. Still, better than nothing, eh? There are some other sites out there with Counter-Strike appearal though, and some of those are pretty good, so look around if these don't meet your fancy. :)

A few examples are:I also have this one, and like it a lot:

I wouldn't mind the poster but they fold it and I'd like a better design. I still might end up buying it.

Also I'd like it to not be a source poster.

I fail to see how wearing a HL2 shirt makes you a loser. If I want to wear a shirt supporting an amazing game and the developers that I deeply respect for crafting, I'll damn well wear it. Plus all the "ladies" and "non nerdy" people won't know what the shirt means anyway. If you think the clothes you wear has an impact on your popularity or cool factor, you're absolutely wrong. Unless it's an anime or dungeons and dragons shirt. Yea.

Yeah, I was gonna link to you, Threeboy, but I was using a different addy and wasn't getting any response from your site, so I left it off. Good stuff there though. :)

I have to admit, I was partly surprised by the negative reaction some of our members had, but then again... it really is to be expected. There are a significant number of people (especially younger people) who are not confident enough in themselves to be able to wear whatever they like without fear of the opinion of others.

Ah well, I dress like a cartoon character most days (same look of clothes every day) due to my work, so it's only the rare moments that I get to indulge in the joys of wearing whatever suits my fancy. :)

It's not that at all though. I wouldn't wear say, a HL2 t-shirt, not because 'it's sad' or whatever, but because I just don't feel that I like these games enough to wear and therefore advertise them everywhere. After all, that's why these sorts of things are made, so people walk around a city advertising a product or movie or band or what-have-you. And frankly yeah, I'm not ever going to start walking around advertising Hl2 or CS:S or whatever because I don't feel that the games are good enough for me to spend my money on something so I can become essentially a walking commercial. I'd rather go around wearing a t-shirt of something I do feel strongly enough about to advertise, like certain films or bands. Jeez it's not like I have high standards when it comes to what I wear, I wear random rubbish as many of you know, but I'm not going to be a walking poster for a game that I only play out of sheer boredom.

Obviously I can't speak for anyone but myself but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person who feels this way. And that is why I'm not going to be buying anything from Valve's store.

I want a t-shirt that says "Terrorist Win!" With a L337 Krew guy on the front.

Yeah personally I'm not big on "ad" shirts, either. I would consider getting one like Alyx's in the game (as someone mentioned earlier). I just don't like feeling like a walking billboard.
