    Chinese train with CS

If you roll your eyes when people claim playing Counter-Strike is somehow akin to actual military training, don't do it around the Chinese government. They've embarked on a program to teach their military recruits the finer points of bunny hopping and wallhacking:
During a military news segment of Chinese Central Television's broadcast, it showed soldiers of Chinese army are been trained to be gaming geeks by playing bootlegged copies of Counter Strike, a popular first-person shooting video game.
Personally, I think it may be disinformation, as they're not using CS-Source, and thus don't have the tactical ability to shoot tires around. This is the armed forces we're supposed to be afraid of 10 years from now. Check it out and bathe in the irony.

Hahah. I'd like to see the marines get into it, and in other countries - so instead of disarming Iraq with US troops, we could alternatively just pwn em on de_dust.

I want to see the video and hear what the instructor actually says, before I start fearing for China's future safety.

If the Chinese military can master the quickswitch, we're all screwed.

It would be fun to watch them all charging at us with their knives out, though.

I would say as_oilrig, as there is no oil in de_dust, US troops will never go there.

it's all photoshopped. Look at the screens, it's all clear and flickerless. And there are wide black borders around the picture in the monitors.

The asshole probably made this to emphasis that the Chinese military didn't rescue the Chinese hostages kidnapped in Iraq few days ago.
