If you roll your eyes when people claim playing Counter-Strike is somehow akin to actual military training, don't do it around the Chinese government. They've embarked on a program to teach their military recruits the finer points of bunny hopping and wallhacking:
During a military news segment of Chinese Central Television's broadcast, it showed soldiers of Chinese army are been trained to be gaming geeks by playing bootlegged copies of Counter Strike, a popular first-person shooting video game.Personally, I think it may be disinformation, as they're not using CS-Source, and thus don't have the tactical ability to shoot tires around. This is the armed forces we're supposed to be afraid of 10 years from now. Check it out and bathe in the irony.
