    CAL-invite Season 13

With the start of the final CAL-invite season for Counter-Strike 1.6 just under way, GotFrag? has a preview of what to expect from each of the competing teams.
Team 3D : ksharp, moto, rambo, volcano, boms, steel

3D had a great CPL, it might not be the result they were looking for, but they played very well throughout the CPL, giving GamerCo a run for their money on their best map. 3D has a few very distinct advantages compared to most teams. They have been playing with this roster for quite sometime now and are now even more dangerous than the previous season. 3D has some of the best players in the US and one of the best in-game leaders you could ask for (I don't care what you guys say, moto isn't washed up). Expect the same 3D season, putting up double digits in the win column and making the playoffs with ease. Motivating them is a whole nother` animal. It isn't a secret that 3D doesn't have the drive as some of these new teams in CAL-I, but they can definitely make up for it with experience that very few people possess. Don't be surprised to see 3D in yet another CAL-I final.

team 3D kind of reminds me of an old kung fu master, expierenced, talented, lack of will to win and made fun of a lot :)

Maybe they should try a back-to-basics approach like SK.swe / NiP.

          X3 anyone? :)

Seems like when you get too deep into the e-sports games / rivalries your game is affected.

Yeah, 3D is beginning to remind me of a worn out track dog, still got the skills, doesn't have the will. Maybe they'll get put up for adoption.

Theres nothing 'wrong' with 3D, just because people are and have been catching up to them, doesnt mean they have gotten worse and washed up. Competition is much harder than it used to be, hence 3D doesnt dominate like it used to. Theres many teams that can win CPL just depends on whos on thier game.

They may have dominated the American scene, but in no way did they dominate internationally.
