wtf why do so many people asociate cs with nerds/geeks. You can know pretty much nothing about computers and play cs. Beleive me i know alot of people that dont even know what html is or how to do the easiest computer stuff and play cs. So its stupid to automaticly brand the word geek with cs.



Just using the computer now doesnt make you a geek like it did 10-12 years ago when it was a minority to use one. Now the majority of this country use a computer, So the term is amplified to a higher extent of what it was, from someone who just used a computer, to someone whos deeply involved in directly computer related endeavors. Sure you could argue cs is, But i dissagree. CS is just a game thats on the computer. Not directly involved to knowelge of the computer itself. Kind of like my gramma uses her email all day long, is she a nerd or a geek? No, she knows nothing about the computer itself, or computer code/contruction.

And before any of you label anyone a "geek" or a "nerd" (as we all know calling each other geeks or nerds in a comments section of a Counter-Strike fansite is the "in" thing to do according to young, popular, and hip teenagers these days), you should definitely make an effort to at least think and think hard before you even lay a finger on your magical and wonderful keyboard.
