Cheating-Death v4.27.1 Released

The popular cheat detection service known as Cheating-Death has reached version 4.27.1 today. The updated release adds new cheat detections as well as various bug fixes. The client update is needed for a smooth gameplay experience on all updated Cheating-Death enabled servers.



Update: An even more recent version (4.27.2) was released last night after this news was posted. Again, make sure your client has the latest version to ensure smooth gameplay. There have been some issues of Windows XP users being unable to run earlier versions of CD without crashing or freezing. These users need to update as soon as possible.

CD is the best anti cheat for the HL engine ever.

See how it gets updated whenever there is a cheat that somehow gets by CD (not very many) or a problem (recently there was a cracked CD client released on cheat sites that let people use a variety of cheats on CD servers) very quickly? Oh well. I dont play 1.6 anymore. Source is fine... After the last few strings of bug fixes the game is playable, but I still cant wait for better custom content support as well as more player models.

arent you going to mention that 4.27.1 was out 1-2h before 4.27.0 and then 4.27.1 was released because people with XP machines cant be bothered to upgrade to SP2

They must have released a second update since our news went up... Only one that was listed was .1.

I get a "RSA signature check failed" with auto-update and I can't access unitedadmins' website. I have winXP and CD v4.26.1, it tries to get v4.27.1

Somebody has a clue ?



EDIT: I took it in IE's cache and installed it, it works now. weird
