Well, while you might be out of luck for now when it comes to Counter-Strike: Source skins, at least we still have an ever-growing collection of skins for all your 1.6 or Condition Zero needs. What forgotten gems are we adding this week?

i'm sure they'll fix the cs:s custom issue, doesn't mean you can't review the models does it?



ps. not using cs_shogun for the sword screenshot is a travesty

I dont think they will 'fix' it since it was a feature they explicitly added. Im sure they have their reasons.

We get exceptionally large numbers of rather crappy submissions, and barely enough good ones to keep the SOTD going. If you want to flood us with so many good models that we aren't forced to pick the best of the mediocre for these updates, be my guest. :)



Basically, though, it's just a matter of adding variety for people to pick from. Most people will stick with our SOTD content, but a smaller section of the community will enjoy trying out these models.

I never understand why people complain about this. You don't have to download them! Nobody is forcing you to use them, so adding stuff to the archives can't hurt. I'm sure someone will use something from this update, and if someone does, then the purpose is served.

I honestly can't wait for CS:S custom models, every gun model looks so freaking small compared to the hands, it's like the hands were modeled after a giant. I'd also like to see some models with the ejection port on the correct side, but I don't even think there are any for regular CS.
