CPL Winter Match Highlights

Blowouts, miracles, overturned matches, heartbreaks, and much more transpired over the course of the Cyberathlete® Extreme Winter Championships thus far. The following are several highlights from the event:

• compLexity stunned critics and even fans alike after defeating the best German, British, and Finnish gaming teams one by one. After building up momentum against Mousesports, unfortunate technical difficulties arose, but in the end, they won in close fashion 19-17 after overtime. Soon afterwards, 4 Kings were taken down by compLexity, 16-7, and the coL crew went on to blow out Destination-Skyline, 16-6. Team Gamer Co will be up to face the strong compLexity, but until then, view the exciting and comprehensive video coverage from their official site. • The Team NoA and EYEBALLERS Upper Quarter-Finals match ended with the former as the winner. However, after several disputes, it came to the attention to the CPL staff that NoA was found to inadvertently use flashbang exploits during the match. Therefore, EYEBALLERS was declared as the true victor in this peculiar faceoff, and will be going up against The Titans to see who is worthy enough for the CPL Finals.
  
  
  
  
• Team 3D and Gamer Co, two of America's finest, duked it out from the first exciting minute until the climatic last round. After great efforts from both teams during both sides, Gamer Co came up victorious, 16-14, over 3D. While it was a heartbreaking loss to the WCG Champions, Gamer Co should be commended for their hard fought win. They will be facing against compLexity, a seemingly unstoppable force.

While the Cyberathlete® Extreme Winter Championships may be dwindling down to the last few matches, they are truly enthralling ones at that. Best of luck to all teams!

even if u quickswitch to put on a silencer the time it takes for it to start firing is equal to the time it takes for it to put on the silencer. -_-

If you lose when you're in the upper bracket, you just go to the lower bracket.

First off, the quickswitching to speed up the silencer.. thing.. doesn't work anymore. Even if it did, it's not nearly as detrimental to the game as illegal flashbangs are. Quickswitching to end a reload seems like a logical 'exploit', if you can call it that. You can't stop reloading in CS like you could in life, so what's the big deal? If you switch to a pistol while reloading your primary, you're no better off then if you had just pulled your pistol out instead if trying to reload your primary. It may be an exploit, but it offers no advantage.
