HLSW 1.0.0.39 Released

The server browsing tool, HLSW, has recently been updated to version 1.0.0.39! Check below for the list of changes from the previous version.

• BugFix: Plugin de-/activate doesn't work

• Global Player ID Database: You can now enter Steam IDs with STEAM_, VALVE_ or nothing as prefix

no, actually it is a very helpful tool!!!



You can:

Ping servers outside the game

Create a list of favorites

View player lists

Use RCON (very helpful)

kick/ban people and lots more.....

ah, i love HLSW, i still use it for BF and pinging source servers. i despise steam with a passion..



but for some reason i cant get HLSW to launch me into a game of source, just brings up steam instead. i dunno..

HLSW is great as an admin tool, but not nearly as useful a server browser as it used to be before steam. The steam server browser is good enough for finding servers for me.

It is also a good serverbrowser if you use the Gamer's Search feature.
