Once again I will say - the comment system is f*cking retarded. My vote goes to removing comment sections, there is absolutely nothing constructive about it. After 2 posts, it turns into a flame war. Just reading this entire thread gives me a headache.

Actually, market research has shown that video games are simply replacing other sedentary activities, such as television or movies, not sports or outside activities. Additionally, most competitive or professional gamers come from a history of competitive sports and if you were ever at a big tournament, you would notice that the vast majority of participants aren't overweight.

Video games are a part of the entire new generation of Americans (from 4 to 24) and the following for e-sports is growing with it. I can't think of a more fun "job" to have.
We're just like everyone else, and don't think that we're too good for good, fun, true sites like CSN. This is one of my favorite sites because it has such diversified content and great staff.
This is actually one of the only websites that I even post on because everyone is usually really cool and down to Earth. Relax, have a good time, and just enjoy it :)

Damn right. Retire? You do notice that Team 3D do lose onc ein a while; they even alst a string of Cal-I matches a while back.
The way you're making it, it seems as though Team £D are monopolising the whole CS e-sports scenese/whatever it's called nowadays. Where ever did you get that impression? Maybe they just like to have contact with the media more often? Is there anything wrong with that?
You do know, of course, that previous incarnations like zex and wew have ebaten 3D. Also, SK have beaten 3D before; I don't hear you complaining about them, and they bloody charge you to sign-up for their site!

I mean, I work for SCEA as a game tester, and if/when I am interviewed for magazines/strategy guides/whatever, I have to say "I'd like to thank Sony Computer Entertainment of America and (insert creator of game, the publisher, etc etc) for allowing me to test this game." because for one, if I don't, I'll get fired..But in 3D's case, they will lose their sponsors and/or their funding, then they'd be just like you, a poor child trying your hardest to make, what you think is, valid points on Counter-Strike forums. And to be honest I'd rather they play Counter-Strike as a sport than do that.Comment
