How's about you try and run Half-Life 2 first or steam://validate/220 in Start > Run (as outlined above) You know, unless you like complaining without at least trying any solution.



Also, HL2DM is pretty sweet, just needs more maps :)

hoping it wasnt a hack or something

and running half life 2 first didnt work at all

It works for me and apparently others as well. So it's a nearly localized problem.

wait.. so you need HL2 installed? that may be the problem.. cuz i don't have my HL2 installed at the moment :P
