great game, can't wait till the ending.

the backround takes way to long to load, it could be my processor though. it looks nice, and how it changes depending on level was cool. yeah, kinda pointless but i'm really bored right now =/

you can make it load faster by going to steam:steamapps:youremail:half-life2:hl2:rc Open it with notepad. Delete the last 2 lines, save, bingo

For all you guys that want improved performance, add this to the HL2 "Launch Options" (right click the HL2 icon, click properties) and then add this line:

-heapsize 512000

Replace the 512 with how much RAM you would like HL2 to use, it uses a default of 64 :O

Anyway, I love HL2, and I will love it even more once my 6800GT gets here. It runs surprisingly well on a 2.8gig geforce4 computer, though.
