I just want to reiterate how absurd it is that people who bought retail, instead of merely saving it into an account as was done before, it also requires the CD to be in all the time. This is very annoying, and I shouldn't have to download some "***** crack" just to play the game through steam. This completely negates the whole point of steam and is really stupid of them to do.Comment

wow, that text was so big I don't think my gravity gun will be able to throw it back at you.
errr, I can't decide whether HL2 is better than HL1... Valve did an astounding job at unfolding the plot along with the game, but as with HL1 you never really get the whole picture... the plot details are kind of left for the player to surmise.
also, WHY DID VALVE REMOVE MY TAU CANNON?! *weeps* I guess the organic gun was better...Comment

sorry thought people in the earlier part of the game wouldnt like to know that there were landmines instead of exploding barrels later on in the game...
anyways did you guys find yourself using the shotgun and 357 magnum the most like old times just because of how friggen cool they were?Comment

Half-Life 2 is simply ammazing!
I really like how the game starts, you really feel like arriving at a new city and trying to orientate yourself. You then realize that the government implanted propaganda when the city is actually very dark and scary.
When you open the doors to the main plaza, you see these flying cameras. It's simply an ammazing experience to see all of these beautiful graphics working in an immaginary city where everything comes alive.
When I went to the scientist's lab, I was laughing that he had a headcrab pet! But an interesting thing is that I ramdomly pressed the use button on the security cameras, and, there it was... The G-Man was standing with his briefcase at a security gate
I'm looking forward to play this game. For now, it's quite awful with my "shared-memory" video card. Yup, I get near 10FPS at the lowest grpahic settings.Comment
