Very well written... some great, compelling bits (the hacker sting was awesome!) But one can only wonder how much Gamespot was paid to do a big, glowing PR job for Valve and how they "persevered through their hard times" to "get the game to the fans".
Sure, I understand that Gabe did some great things, but I felt that the article was overly sympathetic and downplayed his mistakes. It's hard to tell whether facts were strategically omitted to give the positive impression it does.
I mean, I really WANT to believe all this stuff (and I almost do, because Gamespot generally seems fairly authoratative and respectable)... but I'm not sure if it's really the complete truth...
