CS:S Map Goodies

Now that a good portion of the Source SDK has been released, countless mappers and enthusiasts have begun to toil night and day to improve your Counter-Strike experience. Some of you may remember the Punk Ass Fraggers for their assorted model packs for the original CS and other CS related downloads. They have just opened a new CS: Source maps section which has two community made maps available for download and I'm sure that number will grow in the coming days. Click for the goods!



Also, on the Norwegian e-Sports site Nesc.nu, some of the community members have decided to remake the old favorite de_nuke in the Source engine. It's obviously not done yet, but if they do manage to get it released before Valve releases their own rehash of the classic map, it will make many a CS'er happy. You can find the thread here.

They need to fix hammer fast because the glitches and crap make mapping hard.



Especially the terrain deformation, it is almost impossible because the brush turns pure white and you can't tell what you are doing/.

Hit the 'hide mask' button on the surface properties toolwindow before you deform the terrain.

Well, I'd hate to be the first to say (we were trying to keep it a secret), but... yes, myself and bullet_head are getting married on Blurnsday (this Blurnsday). Tell all your friends. This Blurnsday, in Blurnsmarket (at the end of Blurns Lane), Blurnstown.



We're already expecting a kid. I ordered him just yesterday (free delivery! YES!), and he's currently in a small metal container in a Fedex warehouse ready for the special day.
