Does Valve have anything to say on how this affects the UK law of not allowing businesses to sell the game until the following friday?



It seems thats just a publishers rule though so I guess it might not matter, it definately wont matter over steam.

Well it's not really a law, its because games are shipped around depending on size so whoever orders the most is the priority meaning bigger retailers will gte the stock before smaller ones and thats just not fair, so they complained to the publishers as did the big retailers who said because they ordered allot it takes them time to get the stock ready to sell so the publishers came up with tihs rule saying they cant sell games until the following friday or they will get sued 10% of their yearly income.
