The seventh preload for Half-Life 2 was also released tonight in addition to the SDK.

The seventh phase of the Half-Life 2 preload begins to Steam account holders today. This will allow users to download localized Half-Life 2 content and other content in encrypted form. No purchase is required to pre-load Half-Life 2, but is required to activate the game. The moment the game is made available, those who have pre-loaded and purchased the game via Steam will be ready to start playing.

Naturally, restarting your Steam client will allow you to grab the latest content.

Yo mine is stuck at 66% and before this new phase 7, during phase 6, it was stuck at 69%. It says it's preloading but I haven't seen it go up for a long-ass time and I'm on cable. Any solutions?

let it run. download depends on how fast ure internet is. i have 1.5mbit dsl and it takes me good 5min to get 1%

If you had CSS beta and didn't upgrade to the full version, Go to you steamapps folder and delete the CS source files then try again.

let it go overnight when theres less ppl. Also, if your sleeping, you won't be sitting there waiting for it to load.
