The sole reason I haven't converted to CS:S is the hitbox stuff. I played the beta for about a month and couldn't handle it...oh well.

Yes, I hope that upon the HL2 release a lot of the FPS issues and netcode issues are optimized.

Secondly, I really wish I could get some help relating to my resolution switching memory error. Multiple tickets, and Steampowered posts have gone un answered and I know there are several other people with my problem and have no help.

Flashlight contains radiation, therefore, if you shine it on your teammate or the opposing force, it'll kill him. What an awesome glitch!

These are just bugfixes to make it playable, when a big update comes with engine updates/maps/etc, that will make it enjoyable. just wait.

has there actually been any indication that fps/netcode optimisations are in the works? and i mean the serious improvement that many of us want to see?

I guess they are working on something bigger beside these 2lineofcode updates, they just don't want to change the game until everything is ready. Or this is all they got, and we have to wait a lot more. whoknows.
