XFire Leaves Beta

We're pretty late on this news story, but for all of those people needing an alternative to Steam's Friends module and those who used XFire in it's beta stages, version 1.25 of the program has been released.



XFire is a gaming buddy list that has pretty similar functionality to Friends, but works over many different games, including CS: Source. If you still haven't gotten the update or have yet to try out this program, head on over to their site to download it. One of the most noticeable changes to the program is a much-needed face lift as well as the addition of many more supported games. Again, sorry to bring news of this so late.

I concider it a good way to know how many hours of gaming you've done the week and overall total hours you've wasted your life since using it. Great tool.

Xfire is excellent...considering how unstable and buggy Friends is.

It is a great tool and it DOES work for DoD and over 150 other games! Plus now they have in game messaging, so you can respond to messages from WITHIN the game without it taking you out of the game or crashing your computer. Check it out and hit me up on Xfire (3dtorbull is my name).

ah yes, i remember this being mentioned back in pandora tomorrow forums.... man that game[PT] was fun... for like a week... then it sucked ass. Went right back to CS....
