I have that card and a 1300 AMD Athlon, on medium settings I get 50 FPS. Then again, my friend also has that card and has a 2500 AMD and he can barely move, usually around 10 FPS on medium.
how well will ultra low settings run on a GF4MX440 in a p4 1.8?Comment

Well, my computer royally sucks:
P2, I think 400mHz
128 MB Ram
And the graphics card is ATI Radeon 9000 Pro, I believe, with 128 MB of it's own VRAM.
My laptop is a little better (it's broken now, I hope to get it fixed as a Christmas present from someone):
P3 1.13 GHz, 256 MB Ram
nVidia GeForce 2 (32MB VRAM).
My comp runs CS 1.6 at 1280x1024 at around 20-25 FPS, and my laptop runs it at 1600x1400 at around 25-30 FPS.Comment

Maybe you should fix your drivers. I dont have problems like that with the same card and a p4 2.6ghz, running at 1600x1200.
This update came with some CS:S and DOD:S content for me, and it didn't say unlocking HL2 files, just unlocking CS:S filesentRo wrote..

Just goes to show you how much AMD sucks huh? I have Intel 2.6Ghz w/ HT, 512MB PC3200 Corsair RAM, and HIS Excailibur 9800 Pro
Wow one update.
Hey wheres this update?
"Optimized Source to run 225% better on all DX9 systems."
"Fixed FPS/CPU issues with various systems"
AMD 3000+ XP
512DDR RAM
9800PRO128MB
Medium Settings
Average 25-30 + 1second lock ups in gun fights.
gg.
Avg. 60-120 FPS. Full Settings ( Without any filtering cause it hardly changes the look and it kills your FPS...)
ANYONE that is haveing a problume like this did the following:
A) Bought from DELL
-or-
B) Tried to build a $2000 gameing rig themselves with $800, went cheap on the motherboard, ram, case, and PSU, while never actually assembleing the thing correctly and it never running correctly.
Lets face it, 9800 is still good, but its lacking. I kinda laughed when i got mine about a year ago. FarCry on very high settings... yeah so what the game suck ball k. Oh well...Comment
