CS: Source Update

A small Steam update has been released for Counter-Strike: Source. This update addresses some of the more severe bugs and exploits. Once again, you must restart Steam in order for the update to take effect.

An update to Counter-Strike: Source has just been released. Steam will update itself automatically when you restart. Here is a list of the changes:

anyway apparently Half-Life 2 is being unlocked...again. So since this is the second time that itd being unlocked, does it mean its really being locked until the november release? just kidding. no seriously though.

I always get sooo excited when I see "CS: Source UPDATE" when I come to CSN .... Hoping for some new maps already or new features .... But then it just turns out they are fixing bugs I didnt even knew existed ... haha, I guess that is good, but the game just came out and I assume Valve is saving all their real good updates for Xmas time ... So we need to all be good little boys and girls, not use these xploits, and we will get a very nice present/update come around Xmas time

Maybe you should fix your drivers. I dont have problems like that with the same card and a p4 2.6ghz, running at 1600x1200.



This update came with some CS:S and DOD:S content for me, and it didn't say unlocking HL2 files, just unlocking CS:S files

my laptop is a amd 64 3000+, 512 mb RAM, ATI mobility 9600 mat_bumpmap 0, mat_specular 0, and my fps is 60 in fire fights. 1200 x 800 resolution. I dunno wtf your problem is. I'm WAY drunk.

I have:

AMD 2500+ Burton

512DDR RAM

ATi Radeon 9600 Pro 128mb



And when I had CSS Beta I would get around 45-50fps on average. Maybe something wrong with your system. Oh and that update was for DX7 cards, yours is DX9.

Uh, what? VAC is the anticheat. Apparently they have to unlock some HL2 files in order to update them.

You can remember your CS console settings and exact specs while "WAY drunk"? Wow.



BTW, bump mapping and specular lighting make things pretty. I would cry if I had to turn them off.
