Rumors are produced at The Rumor Mill, a small distillery located in Pawtahoksit, Tennessee. Only the finest misquotes, misleading tidbits, and white lies are added to the mash, which is then double-distilled and immediately put in old American White Oak casks, and lovingly aged for at least five minutes. Err, I didn't precisely make it up. It's a riff on the Jack Daniels No. 7 advertisements (slow-sippin' whiskey and all), but I did write it entirely myself, just now. Note that the name of the original distiller is Daniel Jackson. Reverse it and use real, recognizable names and you have... Jack Daniels. And yes, I may hit the bottle a bit hard, to remember their ads from memory. I did have to look up who the president was in 1821, though.
