Okay guys. VALVE said there would be a "Surprise" in the CS:S retail.

I don't see any. It's a straight port from the beta.

Same bugs, some sloppy FPS on my Radeon9800PRO.

(NO MY CPU/RAM DOES NOT SUCK. I BUILD GAMING COMPUTERS AND I'VE TESTED THIS ON 3 DIFFERENT TWEAKED SYSTEMS)



Now that has been cleared. CS:S was indeed optimized for DirectX7.

That's not so hard. What boggles my mind is that the Source engine was built in the 9800PRO era. You would think that a video card that came with a game, could run the game at high/acceptable performance.



Give it time?Give me a break, HL2 deathmatch isn't even planned.

CS:S is the main MP component for HL2, and it sucks. If I could have returned my ATI voucher coupon, I would have as soon as the CS:S beta came near to an end.

Tryin like hell to figure out WHY the bronze is $49.95. You're not getting a box, or a manual, or a CD/DVD.



I think I can wait another month and buy it when it releases to the stores. I'm guessin it'll be $44.95-$39.95 on sale at either Best Buy or Circuit City.



In the meantime, all you "early adopters" help get the bugs worked out so the patch will be ready for me!

Hmm...you can shoot/knife holes through windows! Also once you shoot a hole through a window, you can jump through and make a bigger hole. Impressive?
