Damn I don't really like Source very good. I still think they have alot of shit they need to do. Im buying the collectors edtion from a local game store. So no playing then but I havent played CSS in a long time soit doesnt bother me.Comment

Hmm, personally I'd rather have the CD-ROMs in hand than trust Steam as far as I can kick it.
But one of my fondest memories of playing 1.6 just after it came out was the sheer joy of being able to play for literally hours without someone yelling at someone else every five minutes about them being a hacker. Cause everyone knew for certain that the hackers were still back on 1.5. So there's another part of me that goes "but wait, you might want to actually get a chance to play CS:Source as quickly as possible before the hackers come out in force." Cause you know they will, and VAC will continue to be as ultimately helpless to prevent it in CS:S as it was in CS. At least we can get annoyed at the hackers with better scenery to look at in Free-Look mode after we die, now :).
Damn, I just made two swipes at Valve in a "Go Valve!" thread. I feel like a Microsoft advocate posting to Slashdot or something.

yea, I rather have it on CD/DVD just so that I dont have to download massive amount of data if I decide to reformat my computer and reinstall HL2 and other programs.
I dont see why shouldnt Vivendi release their box version of the game before Steam just to make some profit instead of holding it back and bitch out.Comment
