CPL Winter Championships Site

The Cyberathlete Professional League has launched their Cyberathlete Extreme Winter Championships website as the "one stop information" resource page for all things related to the upcoming event.

The website was designed by Shane Taylor in a loose grunge style with acrid-lime coloring to communicate the fun and excitement of an extreme sports event.

That background, is HORRIBLE. BUrns my eyes to look on their site. Change it to like anice grudge color or something else, please. I'm a webmaster and I rarely ever say something on a site looks Horrible, but come on LIME GREEN!?!?!, Unpro.

Perhaps you should lower your brightness, it looks more of a dull green than a high bright green that would literally "burn your eyes." In fact I've never seen anyone say that a lime color burned their eyes, nope, you're the first.

Limegreen is suppose to be one of the worst colors to use for a web site. Being a web designer, I know this (alot of other people should too). I think a nice light gray, or blue would have looked good, and even being a "Winter" in the name, blue or light gray would have fit nicely.



Now, the trendwhore lines on the background are always awesome to see. But again, not with ugly colors.
