Linux wrote..Well for the record, VALVe started this whole thing because Sierra pissed them off. However, I do agree that the counter-suing (I guess that's the CS they're "playtesting") issue is getting out of hand.
Well I think Viv should just give up you know, all they are doing is making their company look bad in a sence, and Valve is most likely going to win, why was the time and money in this battle? But, Go VALVE, WIN THIS and give up HL2 :) Sigh, Sue happy USA.

I don't understand how anyone is on VALVe's side in this argument. Imagine you said you'd help someone sell a game, and you waste years waiting for them to finish the game, only for them to try to undercut you and sell the game themselves without giving you a cut, after you've sunk millions into the project, constantly being told it's just around the corner, having them fumble constantly and even let their game be stolen by internet hackers. Valve IS the only entitiy delaying HL2 at this point, they keep shooting themselves in the foot trying to make more money. Also, i hate steam and think the DRM aspect of it is just another way for them to try and milk every cent from their game (not that they shouldn't try, but steam is a pile of shit).Comment

Back to Call of Duty: United Offensive, Doom 3, FarCry, and o yeah a riping gun gayness of CS:S
Hurry up with my HL2... I waited with my damn ATI coupon and they say it will take 6-8 weeks to get me my HL2 when it comes out... Now thats lameness and crap out of a butt :) Come on Valve, you make enough already, jsut fire a couple people thats works
kidding.
Edit: Yeah for T:V... The game people, lets see that. Wait even better I got. I beat Doom 4 will come out before HL2 comes. I beat Valve will skip HL2 and be like, well here's HL3 where HL2 was started and get a longer game. That would be awsome :)Comment
