If it were that easy to hack it would be compromised left and right. The last major security hole I remember was in ikonboard, which was used to hack the official cs.net forums a couple years ago.

phpBB has had its own share of nasties. And this is with the 2.x.x versions too. Malformed strings resulting in any user's password, for example. Ouch.

I was actually thinking of that, Team Radeon had an interview with gabe a few weeks before all of this and gabe gave them a gold date and they were supposed to keep it a secret until a specific time or date. Since Gabe apparently said it had gone gold, they thought they might as well release the info and they did. Also right now there is a little scavenger hunt in the halflife2.net forums apparently set up by valve. It releases a ton of hints and clues. Here's what i've found out so far (and looking at the clues in the forum you can see that it fits in well).

Apparently we aren't allowed to flame xlokix due to his hot steamy gay love affair with a CSN admin or some such shit. I call him a fag early on during this thread and it gets deleted, but he has free reign to flame whoever the hell he wants to.
