Or you can buy it on steam. It will be preloaded so all you have to do is make a payment and you are set to play. It will probably be slightly cheaper too because you won't have to pay for the CD and the name of the publisher who made it.

if there was a security leak it wasnt valve, but hl2fallout. This is highly unlikely however, Gabe has indeed posted there numerous times with same style of posts.

Zips where the heck did you get the notion that this needs to be verified? hl2fallout is secure and you randomly putting suspision in your post is INSULTING.

Ask MikeJ as he's the one doing the investigating. I am passing along the reasonable doubt of his in this update.



It's entirely possible there could have been a problem with session hashes. It's a common way to gather control of an account on a message board site, no matter how secure you believe the site to be. No offense, but I find your accusations quite insulting in their own right. We go with what we're given and what appears to be valid information when we receive it. As it stands, it's still unconfirmed in all aspects.
