duuuuuuuuuuude i played doom3, i wasnt that scared. i watch the 2nd video. im like jumping man. i hate those damn screams.... =X

The Ravenholm video does include more footage than that was seen in the E3 presentation and is definately worth a look.

Maybe that just didn't register for this guy.



Anyway, I've been playing a bit of Doom 3 also, but I do find it scary personally. I mean, it's not a constant fear or anything, but there were a couple of parts that made me jump when I was playing at like 3-4am. Keep all other lights out, turn the sound of the screaming up, and just enjoy the atmosphere.



Can't say I've ever found any HL2 footage scary. I'm hoping that it's simply because I'm not the one playing, so it really doesn't affect me, but yeah, so far Doom 3 looks to be winning on that front, though I think HL2 will be the better game overall.

hows the framerate on doom3? im starting to think my 1ghz athlon + gf2mx combo will not like doom3 very much. otherwise i will, erm, "buy" it. :)
