CS-Nation — this very site — turns five years old today! It's a coincidence that the Counter-Strike: Source BETA comes tomorrow, marking a major step in the CS evolution; but it's no coincidence that we have been covering the development of CS: Source over the last few months including posting the first impressions of the game in July and maintaining a strong CS: Source information section.
Not only is CS changing soon, but so are we. Within a few months time, CS-Nation plans on rolling out a brand new design and expanding our CS coverage to focus on Counter-Strike: Source. Also within that timeframe, we plan on moving to faster hardware so we can handle the increased load that will no doubt come with the final release of CS: Source.
I'd like to thank MikeJ for keeping an excellent team in place here over the last year. In fact, our entire team deserves credit for being a great group of hard workers. At Valve, we'd like to thank Jess Cliffe and Doug Lombardi for all their help. Finally, our community here deserves a lot of thanks for sticking with us.
