Pretty dumb to rant and rave against CS:Source if you merely think it's just a upgraded version if 1.6. If that's what you think, don't buy it. Stay in your 1.6 world. This is the same crap I read on here about CZ.

Yet, I bought CZ and was happy about it. Most people I run into in the CZ servers reactions are positive and they felt their money was well spent too. Yet, CZ was still just a revamped 1.6 with the same engine.

CS:Source is not. It is a new and powerful engine. Yes, it is still Counter-Strike, that's why they call it that, wierdo.

If it was something completely different, it would have a completely different name....and probably wouldn't be as good as CS.

BTW, Just how many decades do the 1.6 diehards want free upgrades?

Are you wanting to pass down your hallowed original Half-Life registration codes to your children and then their children in some strange ceremony?

I hope to change the mood of these comments.

I am very excited about Counter-Strike: Source, can't say i've been excited about any Counter-Strike update ever, but this seems to change that.

I just can't wait until they open the doors for ATI/CZ owners which I am both, so I can share the experience and hopefully start playing Counter-Strike again.

I'm not complaining because I pay about 30 bucks a month for mine but that's because my roomate works for time warner cable. But around 140 is the going rate for all those services around here. http://www.twckc.com. So, to answer your question, that's normal "cable" (why are there quotes around cable again?) here.
