    CS: Source Media

For those of you who just can't get enough Counter-Strike: Source media, here's a small listing of videos and screen captures from the Cyber Café test. Also, Half-Life 2 really smells like boo-boo.

im just not turned on by videos, they tend to get repetetive and plus, i've been playing cs for 4 years, it's getting pretty mondain to play, if not see the same game with better graphics.

i'd just like to take this time, and say that Urban Terror is the worst counter-strike player i have ever played in my life.

They're free registrations for Amped News and Boomtown. Well worth it IMO for the footage I've seen. Especially the Boomtown vids.

EDIT: That new hi-res vid at HL2.net is damn nice.

This might be a newbie question, but I was wondering if the Frag Grenade does any damage at all.

That halflife2.net video is funny-- the guy is talking about the bullets not registering. I predict people are going to be complaining about that a lot when this is released-- simply because it's so easy to get kills with 1.6's hitboxes, source's accurate hit detection is going to be a nice change.

lol certainly looks better then the current CS but its nothing that makes me jump out of my seat.

I agree that CS is getting stale. I havn't heard anything about new weapons which is very, downing, since you fucking make a new game and can't even add to the game play.

Instead you take a ton of it away like boosting which is most likly caused by the engine rendering the feet.

I don't know what to say. Looks like just another shitty CS update. Oh wait this update makes you pay for a mod.

WERE ARE ALL THOSE FAGGOTS THAT SCREAMED ABOUT CZ BEING THE SAME??

This CS:S just have a bunch of eye candy added and really dosn't do much but make you play it for about a month before going "Hey, I paid for this same shit I had with 1.6??

KiGrind - Don't bother getting it then. The rest of us will have fun.

                            $20 too much for you?

Honestly, we don't even know how it'll be priced. It's definitely not going to end up being anything near outrageous.

Let's face it; anybody with a decent job can afford HL2. Unless you're paying for your internet access on the dimes, I somehow doubt it'd be a very significant price to pay compared to CPU and video upgrades..

What part of "CS: Source is really more than CS 1.6 on the Source engine", do you fail to understand? It's only been known that CS: Source is nothing more than CS1.6 on the new engine for months now, don't act like you're appalled at such a revelation.

Also, boosting is used rarely in pubs, and I could care less about what pro gamers say about it. They don't own the game anymore than pub players do.
