Mind If I make a point ?



The reason that so many people 'dislike' or 'hate' VALVe is because of this release date problem.

Yes most of us understand that the game was stolen back in Sep '03

and we were patient enough to wait this long, but when people say they are going to release something on July 28th(approx) and then they delay it to Aug 5th (which is only 9 days) then they delay it AGAIN for another 2 weeks, without giving us a valid reason, I dont think thats right. If your going to delay something, you should give us a valid reason or something. And Also if you do delay something, at least give us a date when you think it could POSSIBLY Be out.

It was only delayed one day, they said it would be playable on the 10th in the first place, and now its playable on the 11th... 11-10=1

Anyway, Valve never said it was "free". That's just basically the way many people are looking at it. I bought Half-Life because I heard it was a great game. After I played it, I discovered Counter-Strike among other games that were offered. Found out I didn't have to buy it. Came with Half-Life. That's free because I wasn't expecting it.

It wasn't advertised by Valve as free. I bought CZ months ago before I heard about CS:S. Now, I get to test the BETA....as far as I'm concerned...for free.

Valve says "packaged with" now. Good enough.

Now how about some of you people out there stop looking for freebies.

Could it be even possible that they were still working out the final bugs?



Also, if CS:S is being bundled in HL2 then that means HL2 will be shipped after CS:S has finished beta testing.

I bought CZ when it first came out, and it sucked yeah w/e, and anyway i got banned for hacking LOL, just wanted to try it. So i bought the CZ pack agian on an unbanned accound just to beta test CS:Source. Now thats love for VALVe right there.

Anyways it was pushed back due to some pretty sereve bugs, according to cliffe. Also its not like its a huge push back. Its one day late.

thats what i mean in sweden it says included not free...they made a law which says ur not allowed to write free unless it is free...and from that i guess that u have the right to take out the <something> if it said free

i know this is a noob question but how can i find where the cafes are??? i live in Haverhill, Massachusetts which is borderline plastow, new hampshire which cafe is closest to me?

Have you considered the "Yellow Pages"?

I know it's archaic and all being that it has pages and stuff but it should prove effective.
