Wow, this has to be one of the most offensive boards I've been to recently. There's a lot of vitriol flying around here.



To cover a few of the points from above;



You can have an attractive girlfriend who likes video games (personally my wife hates them, but that's life).



Technically the correct format is 'a lot' rather than 'alot', I expect that it is acceptable to use either in this day and age, more slang get in the Oxford dictionary each year and this is hardly slang. However having said that Microsoft is an American company and (no disrespect) it get grammar wrong rather often..... although from a country that misses most of the 'u's out of the English language you can't expect too much.



Lastly its easily possible to both play games and 'have a life'. Mine might not be the most appealing, over 30, IT contractor, wife & children with the occasional heavy drinking session, but I still find to to play computer games as do most of the guys I work with. You can't blame kids for having more free time, I know I did when I was younger but there's no need for abuse just because they don't have a mortgage yet.
