Lol VGK posted this like 2 minutes ago in HL2 and CSS. Humor.

              Laugh, mortals.

I assume there will be a lot of debris lying around? I mean, I want to try the gravity gun in DM. Come on. GRAVITY GUN + DM.

I just gave away my HL2 to a friend (I had retail and hated having to put the CD in) and plan to buy again through Steam this time. Should I just get silver or wait for a price decrease / further games coming out in a package?

Now you people can finally stop whining and complaining about the lack of deathmatch and all reviews should raise scores appropriately.

Yeah, right; people always complain and reviewers are too stuck-up to ever change their opinion on something.

Reviewers have the mistaken idea that anyone gives a flying fuck about their opinion.

Well, I do. So I guess it's not such a mistaken idea after all. I may not always agree with a reviewer, but the fact is I usually do.

Besides, every review of HL2 I've read has been extremely positive, so what's the problem?

Nothing, I just never read reviews. They are always 100% biased, based on the reviewer, and theres no solid truth to any of them, because they're just opinions of some random guy on the inter-web.

The problem is that 90% of reviews make a huge deal out of HL2 not having DM. Well now it will. So there.

Reviews are what the reporter thinks of the game, which can be a useful guide in buying games. It's not a popularity contest and no one forces you to read reviews. I'd however take the opinion of an experienced gamer, such as an editor of pc gamer magazine, rather than some bum in the arcade.

Reviews may help others decide on wether or not to buy the game. Think how many times you've gone to your friends for their opinions on a game before you considered buying / testing it.

Wether or not their opinion is biased / truth / fiction is context related.
