Seems they are confusing the Source engine with the game's source code when it comes to CS:S

what a fuktard. anyways CS:S and DoD:S = 50% of the reason a lot of people including me puchased the game. ok well i would of got the game without mods but still. and so what if the game has been around for years whats this guys f'ing point. the game must be damn good then. and btw nobody plays HL1 multiplayer

When I read the article, I was thinking, "God, I hope it was Dan Rather who wrote this," and, 4 comments into the story, it seems that there's already a Dan Rather joke.

Maybe his point is that its always nice to see something fresh and new. a HL2 themed multiplayer such as rebels vs combines, using vehicles and the grav gun would be infinitely more fun than endlessly shooting people with assault rifles....



Why are you so against this? If Valve brought out a MP game which was more fun than CS would you not play it simply because it upstaged your precious CS?

Quite frankly im glad they didn't include MP, HL deathmatch really did suck badly, and if its such a problem why don't you use that ole SDK and make it yourself?
