Almost to the point where my download will finally begin.

The fileplanet download servers contain 3 wests, 1 south west, 1 midwest, 1 east and 1 australia (for this file). They've practically covered the west coast with download servers. I don't really understand why they have 1 east and 5 west download servers, someone explain.

Aren't they located in CA? That might explain the reasons. Needless to say I get faster download speeds to the west coast servers then I do on the closer ones (East cost here).

That's probably the reason - the servers would logically be at their headquarters.



The real question is, why don't they have a server based here in Winnipeg?

Now that I've seen the video, I can contribute some actual thoughts:



First off, it's well worth the download. Even though it's the E3 video, it looks SO much better. Guaranteed you'll notice things that you missed the first time around.



In particular, I liked the dead CTs splashing into the water after falling off the bridge. I missed that in the earlier video.



Is it just me, or does all the CS: Source stuff seem more fast-paced than what we're used to?

I love it when the CT gets deagled off the balcony-- just seeing deaths with physics is going to make the game more fun.

When you have people working together like that it usually does go faster.



And simply AMAZING video. The birds chirping, the sounds of rainfall, the graphics, it's all beautiful.
