    the whole thing looks nice.

The mp5 model looks almost real and its not even finished yet?

this is gonna be a good game.

Hmm, why were they comparing it to CS 1.6. Have they forgotten about CZ? Isn't CZ supposed to be the same game as CS 1.6 with a graphical update. So here we have a another one but on the source engine instead. Actually, when I read this, you might aswell be describing CZ apart from where it mentions the source engine and ragdoll physics.

You didn't compare the models with the CZ models which, to be honest, don't look that bad compared to the ones in CS Source.

It's as if you're just forgetting about CZ. CS Source is just showing us all what a waste of time CZ was.

      Anyone agree?
      *Sigh*

CZ was supposed to be SINGLE-PLAYER CS!

It was NOT originally designed to be a better version of CS 1.6!

The bastards took too damned long to come out with the game, so they decided to make it what it is today in order to make more money off of it.

since they have now fixed the shield (in CZ) its strange that they have taken it out of CS, hmm maybe thats one of the things for CZ:S

I have not read through all of the comments, so I apologize if this was already asked/answered.

Is the AWP scoping delay still a part of the game? Or have they actually taken a look at the various polls and realized that a good majority of the CS community hates it?

the awp scope delay is probably in cs:source, but who needs an awp when you can roll barrels with you for cover!

its looking great but has anyone else noticed that the forarm(the arm/hand which is holding the barrel/front end of the gun) on all the rifles and smgs looks deformed? considering where the vien appears to be (which also means how the arm is angled) i dont accually think its possible to hold a gun like that..

try it. stick you hand in the air and try to tilt your arm into the position the forearm is in the shot so that you can just make out the vien in your arm(mp5, ak47, awp, m4a1.. all have the same forarm position). just dont strain yourself ;p

I think it'll take me a good 2 to 3 mins get get ot of spawn area cuz i'll want to knock everything over, and break stuff or something hah. It's going to take like 4 years for me to beat HL2.I'll be f'n with the Physics the whole time!

If ambience is boosted in CS:Source, VALVe better give me a "stopsound" command.

Maybe ambience in CS: Source isn't an ear bleeding low-quality high-pitched wave loop?

I have to admit, for the first few rounds I was just shooting physics objects with my USP! It's so neat!

I tried it, and it worked. I think suggested to Jess that they should seriously consider removing that command. Ambience either needs to be on or off for all players on a server, or it's just not fair. In this case, I would support a server-side variable because I know the competitive community is used to silent maps.

However, I think it's worth leagues keeping ambience on. As long as it's fair, no one is getting hurt. Any other competitive players agree with me?

get used to non-silent maps then... the game's immersiveness shouldn't be sacrificed because competitive players are used to things being silent lol

Don't you think it's kind of over-exaggerated? Come On... A USP Knocking down a large barrel? It could make a serious dent, but not knock the hole thing down!

Also I agree 100% that stopsound should be a server side command.
