Do you think an Athlon64 3000+ would cut it, even tho it's really just 2.0 GHz?



Or do they mean an Intel 2.4 GHz...which means....less than 2.4 GHz AMD!

The first time i saw a screenshot I was quite skeptical, and after those CS Source videos were released I was quite disappointed. But now that I see this new screenshot... oh my :) I am impressed.

i think an athlon64 3000+ would be mroe than enough lmao, shouldn't really compare the GHz with one another.. or thats what i heard. i need a computer nerd to double check this please!



and i do think those system requirements are pretty high in my honest opinion. i can barely play CS 1.6... but thats cuase i have a shitty PCI card (radeon 9200 128mbSE =\)

i also have a radeon 9200SE 128, and i get 100fps on cs. its fine right now, but later this month i am going to purchase a 9800 pro/xt 128/256, so i am all good to go. Intel P4 2.6 Ghz 800FBS, 512 DDR PC3200.

dude, intel is trash, and ATI video cards should not be used on trash, thats why amd and ati are the best! and the min ghz for Hl2 is a 1.75ghz, recomended is a 2.0ghz or higher

im surprised my computer can actually support (except the processor) it... im quite surprised.



but it doesnt fill reccommended at all.. and everyone knows reccommended always means required.
