FPS Tweaking Guide

i use "developer 1" & "fps_max 250", this gives me 200+ FPS with Vertical sync off :)

i quit cs... altho im gona play hl2.. steam is crap and all steam games because in all high preformace games i get 100fps no prob with my geforce fx 5600pro 256mb but in cs i get 56 gg valve get ur asses to geather and think how to fix this crap sorry for my "bad words" im just really pissed even that guide didnt help me it only made it worse.. gg

even in desert combat where there are huge maps high quality stuff and nice looking guns and all i run at high fps and not even thinking of lag or fps problems thank you ea you are trully the best

256mb geforce fx5600pro agp

DSL internet 3.0

Viewsynk newpanel ve150b plamsa max safely 75 refresh rate

cooled down by 5 fans temp 45*C avarage

router linksys (if needed to know)



so valve solve ur crap please. actualy i think i know why cs is so fps eating is because hl s made on quake 1 engine which is very old and rusty... and cs is pushing it to the limit well i think its over limit and that is why its eating all out preformace out in those hl games. what i think is that Valve should get a new engine for hl1 not hl2 hopefully it will be much better then hl in fps ways. i know it will. hope u dudes understood what i said reply back
